D76 AM . Nov 15 . Once upon a time in the desert

Friday. Less than 100 km around Jaiselmer. Hum, should be a light day, shouldn’t it?
Well, not really. Because we are going to experience the desert… Interesting moments !!!

Preliminary work: Moisturizing cream, as my skin has aged ten years within six days.
That woman next to me is very interested in my cream. At the end, I will put some skin on her face, and two boiled eggs in her pocket.

Then we will enter a ghost city.
Once upon a time… The local maharajah had a son, who felt in love with a woman raised in a priests village. The thing is that priests do no like warriors, and refused their daughter to marry the guy. Furious, the maharajah’ son killed them all and destroyed the village…

Among the ruins were three young boys. They wanted me to shake their hand. A sign that I agree to “touch them”, an important moment to show mutual respect.

As their blue uniform show, these three go to school. Meanwhile, other go barefoot in the ruins, asking for money or pens they would sell to others.Capture d’écran 2013-11-16 à 19.33.50 Capture d’écran 2013-11-16 à 19.34.03

We had lunch by a wonderful lake. And as you can see from the picture hereunder, many other kids are already at work.
