Our day started with a ride through apple fields, in the Blue Mountains. I almost adopted a tree, as I was asked (see picture below), but I finally thought I might do so another time !
Then, we ride 500 kilometers, from the Blue Mountains to Batemans Bay.

Some of you might remember that, once upon a time, back from my first trip to Asia, I wanted to start an anthropology thesis about road signage. More precisely, I wanted to compare the designs of Schools signage. Because, depending on the regions, women or men would be featured, holding the hands of boys or girls, and, in my opinion, the choice tells a lot about a country’s culture.
Anyway. Of course, I never did it. Though, my interest for signage remained intact.
So, here are some of the ones we discovered today.
Not the very well-known koalas and kangaroos warnings, others… I especially like the following one, with the duck and his family.
I also like signage when it matches with the surroundings, like here, below. It looks pretty much like in the US, isn’t it?
