What have we been eating in Australia ?

Apparently, indigenous Australians were hunting kangaroo, wallaby and emu. Other foods widely consumed included bogong moths, lizards, snakes… Well… Australian cuisine nowadays shows more diversity, coming from different immigration waves.

We are far from having tried everything. Actually we miss many. But here are my latest meals…

According to Wikipedia, The popular brand Four’N’Twenty produces 50,000 pies per hour and Australians consume an average of 1200 meat pies each per year.

Lately, I said I missed red wine, remember ? So I tried some of them – major varieties being predominantly Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot. Good news, as those are my favorite varieties.

A Yellow Tail and an Epicure cheddar ? The perfect mix to chill out !!!
